Police Charge Man In Palisades Center Shoplifting Case

WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- Police apprehended a Brooklyn man Saturday who was accused of stealing $1,124 worth of cologne and accessories from Abercrombie & Fitch at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, according to the Clarkstown Police Department.

Police responded to a report of the shoplifting at approximately 4:40 p.m., on Saturday.

A man was observed by loss prevention employees taking the merchandise, according to police. The man was pursued on foot by officers, police say.

Kevin Lambert, 30, was apprehended, arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing, according to police.

The merchandise was recovered at the scene, police say.
