The largest Halloween parade outside of New York City, the event has featured 10 full-sized floats in recent years along with 300 costumed participants, several marching bands, police and fire personnel and a host of other ghosts and ghouls.
Cash prizes for best floats and costumes will be awarded, according to organizers.
The event is to kick off downtown at Main Street and Broadway. In the event of rain, it will be postponed until Oct. 30.
