Held every year the week before Thanksgiving, American Education Week spotlights the importance of providing every child with a quality K-20 public education across the nation.

This year, Link Elementary focused on students learning about other countries across the world, in addition to a host of other topics.

The two-day event drew many spectators, excited to see the culmination of the weeks of study and creativity the Link students engaged in.

Each grade level was given a theme to center their project around:

  • Kindergarten - 'We Are Family"
  • Grade 1 - "Introducing our Link IB World"
  • Grade 2 - "Rock the Vote: Democracy at Work"
  • Grade 3 - "Geography: Where You Live Affects How You Live"
  • Grade 4 - "Think Like A Scientist"
  • Grade 5 - "Amazing Advertisements"
