Nestled next to Macy’s full-line department store on the second level, this new retail combination of separate side-by-side stores give shoppers a new option. The grand opening will be celebrated with gift card giveaways and special events throughout the day with a special preview day on Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m.
“We created Macy’s Backstage for the seasoned outlet shopper who enjoys the excitement of the treasure hunt but whose time and money is a commodity,” said Vanessa LeFebvre, senior vice president/general merchandise manager of Macy’s Backstage stores. “Our latest Backstage store is a convenient twist to the traditional outlet store format that we feel Macy’s and mall shoppers will enjoy and embrace, and we are thrilled to bring this new concept to Rockland County with its first Macy’s Backstage outlet store in Nanuet.”
At about 25,000 square feet, Macy’s Backstage will offer trend boards and amenities such as mobile checkout stations, free Wi-Fi, “juice bars,” designated charging stations, accessible parking and three-way mirror installations in the fitting rooms.
Macy’s Backstage at Nanuet is at Route 59 200 Nanuet Mall and is open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays. The store can be contacted at 845-623-4100.
