New Roadwork Alert Issued For Rockland

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Motorists planning on traveling through New City over the weekend can expect delays as the Rockland County Highway Department completes roadwork in the area.

An alert has been issued by the Highway Department reminding residents that beginning at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, crews will be resurfacing North Little Tor Road from New Hempstead Road to Woodland Road in New City.

Officials said that detours would be posted and motorists should follow any signage or flaggers in the area.
