A bridge replacement project in Westchester will lead to additional lane closures along the Hutchinson River Parkway for several weeks. Construction workers in the Hudson Valley got a scare on the job when they accidentally ruptured a propane tank near a Rockland County school, leading to temporary road closures. State Police are set to temporarily close a roadway in the Hudson Valley due to an investigation. New York State Police said State Route 9G/Violet Avenue in Dutchess County will close for about two hours on Thursday, Oct. 28, due to an investigation between E/W Dorsey Lane and Cottage Road in Hyde Park. Expect Delays: Taconic Parkway Stretch To Be Closed For Repairs
Motorists on the Taconic State Parkway can expect some delays due to a roadway closure in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation said the roadway will be closed along the southbound lanes in Dutchess County between Exit 47 and Exit 45 in the town of Lagrangeville. The road will be closed for repairs beginning Thursday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. through about 6 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10.
