A popular frozen pizza product sold in the Northeast has been recalled due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
802 VT Frozen, a Newport, Vermont, establishment, said the recall involves approximately 8,220 pounds of its frozen meat pizza.
The product contains soy, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Friday, April 26.
The produced was made from April 25, 2023, through April 25, 2024.

A recall has been issued for thousands of pounds of ground beef because it may be contaminated with a foreign object.
The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on Sunday, Nov. 19 that Skyline Provisions, Inc. is recalling approximately 5,620 pounds of raw ground beef products that were produced and packed on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023.
The items were shipped to locations in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.

New York resident Christopher Thomas, age 40, of Colonie in Albany County, was sentenced to 40 years behind bars Monday, Oct. 30, in Albany federal court.
According to prosecutors, Thomas coerced numerous vulnerable children and young women, some as young as 16, to engage in sex work for his financial benefit between 2018 and 2020.
