Man Sentenced For Fatal Wallkill BMW Crash That Killed 30-Year-Old Man
A man who was driving high when he killed a Town of Wallkill man in a crash has been sentenced to five to 15 years in prison.
Robinson Perez, 31, of Manhattan, was sentenced Wednesday, Feb. 6, in connection with the fatal crash which occurred on July 16, 2017, that killed Dustin Mills, 30, of Middletown, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
The victim was killed when the car that he had been driving on Route 17M, in the Town of Wallkill, was struck at high speed by a car driven by Perez, the DA's Office said.

A 45-year-old man is behind bars after he was found to be in possession of a large quantity of raw, unpackaged heroin during a traffic stop, state police said.
Troopers patrolling State Route 17 in the Town of Wallkill stopped a vehicle traveling westbound for traffic infractions on Saturday, Dec. 29.
During the stop, a passenger in the car, Angel L. Cruz of Buffalo, was found to possess the heroin, according to police.

A man was arrested after grabbing a woman shopping at a drug store and dragging her into a bathroom and forcibly touching her.
David Valentin, 48, of Pomona, was arrested around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, by Town of Wallkill Police, after a 25-year-old woman told officers she was pulled into the bathroom at the CVS Pharmacy at 399 Route 211 East and sexually touched by Valentin, said Town Of Wallkill Police.
