Fisher-Price Recalling 366K Baby Dumbbell Toys Due To Infant Choking Hazard
Fisher-Price is recalling hundreds of thousands of baby dumbbell toys that could pose a potential choking threat to infants the US Consumer Product Safety (CPSC) announced. The retailer is recalling 366,200 toys that were sold nationwide and online along with the Baby Biceps Gift Set that includes dumbbells with caps that can pop off, creating the hazard. 10-Year-Old Struck By Car Outside Store In Hudson Valley
A 10-year-old was injured after being hit by a car near a popular Hudson Valley store. The incident took place in Orange County around 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 near the TJ Maxx store at 88 Dunning Road in Wallkill. When Wallkill police arrived on the scene they found a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with two occupants, had struck an adult and a child, said Wallkill Deputy Chief of Police Antonino Spano. A company has recalled thousands of heated blankets after receiving reports of blankets overheating, posing a burn risk. MWA LLC recalled about 4,200 LUXE+WILLOW Heated Blankets on Thursday, April 21, according to an announcement from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. A man and woman from Westchester will spend time behind bars after being busted in an elaborate identity theft scheme that involved forged passport cards and fraudulently obtained credit cards to steal from popular retailers.
