Robert Leff, 51, of the Baldwin Place section of Somers, died around 11:25 a.m. Thursday after crashing into a tree, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. First responders were dispatched at approximately 11 a.m. to I-684, at the Saw Mill River Parkway juncture near exit 43 in Katonah, where there was a multi-vehicle crash that left one car in flames near the guardrail of the southbound lanes.
