A Hudson Valley man is facing drug charges after a months-long investigation into narcotics sales. Richard Fernandez, age 40, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 20, following a five-month investigation by the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. Investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at a residence in Pomona, recovering cocaine, fentanyl pills, and other pharmaceutical drugs during the search. Homicide Suspect On Run Found In Hudson Valley Motel
A homicide suspect wanted for killing a person in New York City was taken into custody at a motel in the Hudson Valley. Freddie Gaetan, age 29, was tracked to Rockland County and the Stony Point Budget Motor Inn at 87 South Liberty Drive in Stony Point on Wednesday, June 21. According to Lt. Greg Becker of the Stony Point Police, the department received a call from NYPD detectives that Gaetan might be staying at the motel. Domestic Dispute Involving Firearms Leads To Multi-Agency Response In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley man was charged after he allegedly tied up and beat his wife and then held police at bay for more than eight hours after she escaped. The incident began in Rockland County around 9 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 on Fillmore Drive in Stony Point. According to Stony Point Police Chief Edward Finn, the police department received a call from a woman who had been and beaten by her husband during the night and was able to escape the residence to call the police. Two Nabbed In Nyack Drug Bust
Two men were arrested following an investigation into drug sales in the Nyack area. Leonard T. Cozart, 71, of Nyak, and Gregory Diaz, 46, of Valley Cottage, were arrested on Friday by Orangetown Police Department and the Rockland County REACT Team, along with the Rockland County Drug Task Force during a search of Cozart's home, said Orangetown Police Det. Spring Valley Fugitive Wanted For Home Invasion Nabbed During Warrant Search
A 21-year-old man was arrested by force on an outstanding felony warrant for an armed home invasion after he was spotted by police and refused to surrender. Bradley Lauture, of Spring Valley, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday by Spring Valley Police when officers saw him entering his home and knew he had an outstanding warrant, said Det.
