New Covid-19 Numbers In Westchester 'Encouraging,' Says Latimer: Latest Cases By Municipality
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) numbers in Westchester “are encouraging,” according to County Executive George Latimer.
As the county enters its third month combating COVID-19, Latimer said that there have been a total of 29,323 positive cases of the 99,442 Westchester residents tested.
Of those cases, there have been 1,049 residents who died from the virus since the outbreak began in New Rochelle in early March.
There are currently 6,756 active cases in Westchester, which is down from 8,000 cases approximately a month ago, and more than 11,000 at the peak of the outbreak.

After becoming one of the hottest spots for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country in early March, Westchester may be coming down the backside of the “curve,” according to County Executive George Latimer.
In Westchester, 92,829 people have been tested during the pandemic, with 28,970 testing positive, including 344 new cases. Since the outbreak began, 1,031 Westchester residents have died, 25 more than 24 hours ago.

Westchester County has hit a dark milestone as the total number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) fatalities topped 1,000.
With the statewide death toll climbing above 18,000 as of Wednesday, April 29, Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced that there have been 1,006 deaths in the county since the pandemic began in early March.
There are currently 7,679 active COVID-19 cases in Westchester, with 861 patients still hospitalized, both a tick down in 24 hours. Overall, there have been 28,626 positive COVID-19 cases in Westchester, out of nearly 91,000 tests.

The number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Westchester continues to stabilize.
As of Monday, April 27, according to the New York State Department of Health, there have been 291,996 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide, including 28,007 in Westchester. There have been 1,077 deaths tied to COVID-19 since the outbreak began 58 days ago.

Covid-19 Active Cases Drop Again In Westchester: Here's Latest Rundown By Municipality
The number of active novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Westchester has dipped below 9,000 for the first time in weeks.
During his daily virtual COVID-19 briefing, Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced on Thursday, April 23, that there have been 25,959 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 8,955 still active.
