A 64-year-old woman is facing a misdemeanor charge after being busted allegedly driving erratically while under the influence in Blauvelt and refusing to submit to a breathalyzer, police said. Police intervention was required when a domestic dispute involving a woman from Tappan turned physical, according to the Orangetown Police Department. Officers were dispatched to a Tappan home shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, where there was a reported dispute between two people. A 28-year-old Nanuet man who attempted to flee after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash was apprehended in Pearl River, Orangetown Police said. A 23-year-old Valley Cottage man was busted with a hypodermic needle and heroin during a routine traffic stop in Pearl River, according to police in Orangetown. An Orangetown Police officer on patrol at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27 on East Lewis Avenue stopped Nikola Marinkovich in his 2010 Honda when he committed a vehicle and traffic law violation in Pearl River.
