Humpback Whale Sighting In Hudson River Near Statue Of Liberty Captured On Video
Some New Yorkers had their “Call me Ishmael” moment when a Humpback whale was spotted and caught on camera in the Hudson River near the Statue of Liberty before being followed by other sightings in that area. Photographer Bjoern Kils, who runs the New York Media Boat that tours around New York City, captured a photo of a humpback whale during a trip on Tuesday, Dec. 8, that has since gone viral.
