A stretch of a busy roadway has now reopened after an overturned tractor-trailer crash on a busy roadway in the Hudson Valley. According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the incident occurred in Orange County on I-84 eastbound in Newburgh around 7 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19. The road was closed from Exit 34 (I-84) - Newburgh (NY 17K) (Newburgh) for several hours. The westbound left lane was also blocked. 2 Hudson Valley Residents Charged After Threatening Person With Gun, Machete A Hudson Valley man and woman were charged with possession of a weapon and menacing after allegedly threatening a person with a gun and a machete. The incident took place in Orange County around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 in Newburgh on Timber Ridge Road.  According to Lt. 16-Month-Old Child Severely Burned Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center A 16-month-old Hudson Valley boy was severely burned during an accident at his home. The incident took place in Orange County around 3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 4 in New Windsor. According to Chief of New Windsor Police Daniel Valeri, the toddler was burned after pulling on the cord of a vegetable steamer that was on and it spilled onto his head, chest, and back. The mother took the child to an urgent care center in Newburgh who immediately called for a helicopter to fly the child to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, the chief said.
