According to the New York State Department of Transportation, the incident occurred in Orange County on I-84 eastbound in Newburgh around 7 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19. The road was closed from Exit 34 (I-84) - Newburgh (NY 17K) (Newburgh) for several hours. The westbound left lane was also blocked.
