Duo Tries Stealing From Gas Station ATM In Hudson Valley Before Fleeing Into Woods: Police A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man was apprehended after trying to break into an ATM at a Northern Westchester gas station and fleeing into the woods with his accomplice who remains at large, police said.  The attempted theft happened on Thursday, Sept. 19 around 3:15 a.m., when a Bedford resident reported seeing two suspects trying to break into the ATM at a Mobil gas station at 193 Pound Ridge Rd. Cash For Life: Winning Lottery Ticket Worth At Least $7M Sold In Hudson Valley A lucky winner is set to receive a thousand dollars every day after buying the right lottery ticket at a Hudson Valley gas station.  A top-prize-winning CASH4LIFE ticket worth $1,000 a day was sold in Putnam County for the drawing on Friday, Aug. 30 at a Brewster gas station, New York Lottery officials announced.  The ticket, worth a guaranteed $7 million, was sold at a Mobil gas station located at 1569 Route 22, officials added.  The winning numbers were 10 12 14 28 29 with a Cash Ball of 03.

Hudson Valley Man With 27 Arrests Busted Again For Robbery, Police Say A man with 27 prior arrests who is on parole has been busted again for allegedly robbing a Hudson Valley gas station. Ulster County resident Michael J. Brooks, age 62, of Plattekill, was charged on Friday, Feb. 23 in the town of Lloyd. According to Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, Brooks robbed the Mobil gas station on Grand Street in Highland of $2,800 on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Suspect Nabbed After Robbery Of Mobil Station In Area One person has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a Mobil gas station in the area. According to New York State Police, the robbery took place around 10:45 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26, in Ulster County at the Mobil station on State Route 32 in the town of Rosendale, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Shenettra Franklin of Stony Point was arrested on Sunday, July 14,  for allegedly panhandling outside of the Mobil gas station in Stony Pont, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. During an investigation, police found that Franklin had provided them with a fake name and that she was wanted on an active warrant by the Clarkstown Police, Hylas said. Route 17M Mobil Station Destroyed By Fire A Mobil station on Route 17M in Orange County was completely destroyed by a fast-moving fire. Washington Heights Assistant Fire Chief Todd Gray said the fire started around 2:43 a.m. Friday and destroyed everything but the shell of the building.
