Peekskill Will Get $10 Million In State Funding For Downtown Revitalization
Downtown Peekskill is getting a makeover as part of the governor’s $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that Peekskill will receive $10 million in funding as the Mid-Hudson winner of the fourth round of the initiative. Westchester County Association Will Merge With Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp
Two of the area’s leading business advocacy organizations will soon become one, following the announcement of a major merger between the Westchester County Association and the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp.The deal, announced on Tuesday, Jan. 29, will center on strengthening the economy in the Hudson Valley. The new organization - which has not been given a designated name - is expected to take effect later this year. The Rockland Business Association is kicking off the second half of 2018 with a number of significant people-related changes including a retirement, a promotion, two new directors and two new vice chairs.
