School Officer In Area Digs Through Trash To Find Student's Missing Earrings From Late Grandma
A Hudson Valley school officer went the extra mile for a student who lost a pair of earrings given to her by her late grandmother. A fifth-grader at Cornwall Central Middle School in Orange County told school officer Tony that she had left on her lunch tray a pair of earrings that her grandma gave her. The school said Tony searched through the garbage until he found the earrings and returned them to the girl. "When we say that CCMS is the best, the people, the kids, the parents, the staff, we aren’t bragging," the school said.

Bike Found On Side Of Roadway In Rockland
A mountain bike found on the side of the roadway in Rockland County is looking for its owner. A resident found the bike on the side of the road near the parking lot for the Ramapo Rest Stop on the New York State Thruway, said the Ramapo Police. If you recognize the bike and know who it belongs to, please contact Officer Mike Luba at 845-357-2400.

Missing Goats Found On Route 59 In Rockland
Missing a pair of goats? Yep, goats. The Hudson Valley Humane Society said it retrieved two goats that were out on Halloween, wandering during the day on Route 52 near the Orange and Rockland County Utility building in Spring Valley on Saturday, Oct. 31. Both had collars, but no identification. Anyone with information or the goat's owners are asked to contact the Humane Society via text at 917-701-3870 if you know where they live, thank you. For now, the Humane Society said the goats are safe at their headquarters at 200 Quaker Road in Pomona.
