Police responded to a report of an individual lying on the ground and bleeding in Middletown near 6 Courtland St. in Middletown at about 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, according to the Middletown Police Department. Officers found a 31-year-old man on the sidewalk suffering from life-threatening injuries after he had been slashed with a sharp object in the chest, back, and arm, police said. The blaze broke out in Orange County around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in Middletown on the Midland Avenue extension at 9 Midland Avenue. Middletown Duo Admits To Selling Drugs Two area men admitted to selling drugs in connection with their roles in the "Coke Wars" street gang. Traquane Dolson, 22, and Mason Milligan, 19, both of Middletown, pleaded guilty Wednesday. Dec. 5 to criminal sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office. Man Sentenced For Assaulting Police Officer In Area An Orange County man is heading to prison after assaulting a Middletown police officer and leaving him with a knee injury. Moises Almanzar of Middletown was sentenced in Orange County Court to four years in state prison, followed by three years post-release supervision in connection to an incident that took place on Jan. 4 last year.
