The incident took place early Tuesday, March 10, at Hendrick Hudson High School at 2166 Albany Post Road, in Montrose, according to the Westchester County Police. Francois Barcomb, 50, of New Paltz, a physics teacher at Hendrick Hudson High School, in Montrose, entered the final with a commanding after day one of a two-day final competition between the three final contestants with a total win of $20,400. She was 43 years old.  A graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, she was a special education teacher for the Orange/Ulster BOCES in Goshen.
