A Hudson Valley family is mourning the heartbreaking loss of a devoted mother and her twin baby boys following complications during childbirth.
Tragedy struck the family just before Christmas when Julissa Padilla, a 28-year-old mother who managed a Newburgh apartment complex, passed away on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, following an emergency C-section. Her twin sons, Noah and Matteo, born prematurely at 25 weeks, also did not survive.

School, Family Mourning Death Of 17-Year-Old Student In Region
Friends and family are mourning the loss of a 17-year-old boy from the region who died from a medical complication.
"It is with profound sadness that I write this letter to let you know that one of our high school students, Javon Islam, passed away from a medical complication on the evening of Monday, May 22," said Dr. Patrick Sullivan, Superintendent of the Liberty Central School District in Sullivan County.
