State Attorney General To Investigate Hudson Valley Officer-Involved Shooting Two days after the shooting death of an area man by a state trooper, the state Attorney General's Special Investigations and Prosecutions Unit has announced is taking over the investigation of the incident. Jaime Lopez, 41, of Stanfordville, was shot around 11 a.m. Tuesday after state police responded to a restaurant he owned called Coyote Flaco, for a menacing call, according to New York State Police.
