Man Charged With DWI Following Single-Vehicle Crash In Hudson Valley A man is facing charges after police said he drove with a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit and crashed his car. Troopers responded to the single-vehicle crash on I-87 in  Rockland County, in Ramapo, at about 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, according to New York State Police. The driver, identified as 58-year-old Robert Rykowski, of Sloatsburg, lost control of a 2012 Volvo S60 while traveling north, and struck the center barrier, authorities said. Erratic Driving Stop Leads To Felony DWI Charge For Pearl River Man, Police Say A Pearl River man has been charged with felony DWI after he was pulled over for driving erratically, according to police. Orangetown Police say they responded to the area of Route 304 and Central Avenue in Pearl River on a report of a 2016 Jeep being driven erratically on Sunday, Oct. 20 around 7:15 p.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Thomas Muthig, 54, of Pearl River, was displaying signs of intoxication, police say.
