Hudson Valley Man Admits Being Major Drug Trafficker, DA Says
A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to operating as a major drug trafficker and faces years in prison.
Orange County resident Antonio Bucci, age 29, of Chester, entered the plea on Tuesday, Sept. 10, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
Hoovler said Bucci's admission comes after a year-long investigation by the New York State Police, the Orange County Drug Task Force, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Following a five-year investigation into the death of a Hudson Valley man, detectives, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force have arrested a suspect in the case.
Dikion D. Constantine, age 23, of the Bronx, was charged on Thursday, April 11, with the murder of Sebastian Avilan-Medina, age 26, of Middletown, on Monday, March 11, 2019.
According to Lt. Jeffry Thoelen of the Middletown Police, the arrest culminates a highly intensive five-year investigation into the cold case homicide of Avilan-Medina, who was found shot to death in his Knapp Avenue home.

More than 100 firearms were seized and 11 people were arrested following a six-month, multi-agency investigation into “ghost guns” and illegal weapons in Westchester and Putnam counties.
Search warrants were executed at eight locations by local, county, and federal authorities in Westchester and Putnam this week, which led to the seizure of rifles, handguns, “ghost guns,” and multiple high-capacity drum magazines.

Suspect Nabbed In 2019 Murder At Area Restaurant
After an intensive 14-month manhunt, a 27-year-old man has been arrested by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force for the 2019 murder of another man at a restaurant in the area.
Jamaad Mikal Murphy, of Middletown, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 20, in Ramapo, for the Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, killing of Matthew Napoleoni, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.
State Police say that at approximately 2:30 a.m., Murphy, shot and killed Napoleoni, age 23, also of Middletown, outside of the Made in Puerto Rico Latin Cuisine and Sports Bar on Schutt Road Extension in the town of Wallkill.

Man Nabbed In Connection With Two Armed Robberies In Area, Police Say
A man wanted for two armed robberies has been arrested.
Orange County resident Mark E. Jones, 62, of Newburgh, was arrested on Thursday, July 2, by the Town of Newburgh Police Department for the alleged robberies which occurred earlier this year, said Lt. James Nenni.
The first one took place on Sunday, March 1, at the Gidney Ave. Sunoco, Ninni said.
During the robbery, Jones allegedly entered the store and threatened the attendant with a knife while demanding cash, police said at the time.

Suspect Nabbed In Armed Robbery At Westchester Gas Station
A man who allegedly robbed a Westchester gas station at gunpoint before fleeing with cash has been apprehended, police announced.
The incident took place around 12:45 a.m., Thursday, May 7, at the Mobil gas station located at 381 Knollwood Road in Greenburgh, said Greenburgh Police Lt. Kobie Powell.
The suspect, identified as Mokosh Wilson, 21, of Yonkers, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register and safe, Powell said.

Two Nabbed After Year-Long Orange County Heroin Trafficking Investigation
Two Orange County men are behind bars following a year-long investigation into heroin trafficking in the area, according to the City of Middletown Police.
Middletown police said their Narcotics Unit served two no-knock search warrants at two residences along with help from the state police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
During the search, officers seized 4,131 bags of heroin, with a street value of more than $40,000, and $1,614 in cash. The heroin was stamped "The Punisher," and "Down Low," each of which is well-known in the area, police said.
