Attorney Arrested At Gunpoint In Missing Mom Case Allegedly Dug Makeshift Grave
As the news swirls around the arrests of Fotis Dulos and his ex-lover Michelle Troconis for the alleged murder of Fairfield County missing mom Jennifer Farber Dulos, another person was arrested as well, Kent Mawhinney, an attorney, and friend of Dulos.
Mawhinney, 54, of South Windsor, Connecticut, was reportedly arrested at gunpoint during a traffic stop by state police after searching for him for several hours on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Once in custody Mawhinney was charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the case, the arrest warrant says.

Hudson Valley Company Will Repair Charging Bull Damaged In Attack On Wall Street, Report Says
A Hudson Valley foundry has been tasked with repairing the iconic Wall Street Charging Bull statue after a man from Texas went on a rampage during an anti-Donald Trump rant.
Rock Tavern-based Polich Tallix, the Orange County company that makes the Oscars statuette, has been hired to fix the statue, which has extensive damage near the right horn of the charging bull.
The damage is expected to cost upwards of $15,000, according to the Wall Street Journal.

47-Mile Chase Ends With Dwai Motorist Crashing Into Ditch With Three Kids In Car, Police Say
A 44-year-old man is behind bars following a 47-mile chase that ended when he crashed into a ditch with three children in the car.
The incident took place around 4:52 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, when New York State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Plattekill for a vehicle and traffic violation, said Trooper Tara McCormick.
The driver, later identified as Luis Rosa, 44, of the Bronx, failed to comply and a chase ensued, covering approximately 47 miles, she added.

A couple fought back --literally -- after troopers attempted to arrest them during an early morning traffic stop over the weekend, New York State Police said.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a Mercedes-Benz shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, on the Southern State Parkway in Nassau County, near exit 21 (Nassau Road) in Hempstead, for a traffic violation.
