A New Windsor man was found guilty of a criminally negligent homicide Wednesday in the death of his girlfriend in a drugged driving accident in 2016, according to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
Gregory Cardona, 28, was convicted in connection with the August 2016 death of a woman who died when he lost control of his car, causing it to leave the roadway, go down an embankment, and collided with a tree, the DA's office said.

Angelika Graswald, aka the "Hudson River Kayak Killer," could walk away with more than $490,000 in life insurance benefits from the man whose death she pleaded guilty to helping cause, according to a court ruling made in Dutchess Surrogate's Court.
