Man, Woman Charged After 250 Bags Of Fentanyl, Heroin Seized During Hudson Valley Traffic Stop
Two people are facing felony charges after a Hudson Valley traffic stop led to the discovery of about 250 bags of fentanyl and heroin, authorities reported.
Authorities saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Sawkill-Ruby Road in the Town of Ulster on Thursday, Sept. 8, according to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Melissa Neglia, of Saugerties, was found to be driving the vehicle with a revoked license, authorities said.

Man Caught With 14 Grams Of Cocaine After Traffic Stop In Region, Police Say
A routine traffic stop in the region ended with a man in handcuffs.
Troopers stopped the man in Orange County, on I-87 in New Windsor, Thursday, May 5, for a vehicle and traffic violation, New York State Police said.
After searching the vehicle, the trooper found approximately 14 grams of cocaine, police said.
The 52-year-old driver, Marco Smith, of South Glens Falls in Saratoga County, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
He was released and ordered to appear back at the Town of New Windsor Court Thursday, May 26.
Two Busted With 148 Grams Of Crack Cocaine During Taconic Parkway Stop, State Police Say
New York State Police troopers on patrol on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County busted two with nearly 150 grams of crack cocaine, authorities announced.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 for a vehicle and traffic violation on the parkway in Pleasant Valley, investigators announced on Monday, Jan. 31.
