Ex-Doctor Charged In Woman's Suicide In Hudson Valley Motel Room
A former doctor has been charged in connection with a woman's suicide in a motel room in the region. The former doctor, Stephen P. Miller, age 85, of Tuscon, Arizona was charged with manslaughter in Ulster County on Friday, Feb. 2 in connection with the Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 death in Kingston. OxyContin creators Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family have reached a $6 billion settlement over their roles in the ongoing opioid crisis plaguing the country.
