Three Killed In Connecticut Crash  Three people were killed in a morning crash in Connecticut. It happened around 6:30 a.m. in New Haven County in Branford on Thursday, April 28 on Hosley Avenue. Preliminary findings of the investigation indicate that the operator failed to negotiate a curve in the road while traveling at an excessive speed, Branford Police said. New Confirmations Bring Number Of Tornadoes In NY/CT During Storm To Six A total of six tornadoes have now been confirmed in New York and Connecticut after the severe round of storms that moved quickly through the region from west to east on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 13. Uber Driver Sentenced For Assaulting, Kidnapping Westchester Woman A 25-year-old Uber driver has been sentenced after admitting to picking up a Westchester woman, kidnapping her and sexually assaulting her in his car before dropping her on the side of I-95 in Connecticut. Harbir Parmar, of Howard Beach in Queens, has been sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release after pleading guilty in White Plains federal court to kidnapping and wire fraud following his arrest on Oct. 16 last year.
