The 500-foot-long walk will take place 125 feet above the playing field. To add an extra thrill, Wallenda will also “drop” the first pitch from high above the field, team officials said.

In addition to the excitement of playing the world’s best in the Cuban National Team, we can now give our fans even more reason to remember this historic series by watching Nik walk a wire over Palisades Credit Union Park.”
Wallenda is best known as the first person to walk on a tightrope across Niagara Falls, in addition to walking across the Grand Canyon and for performing a dramatic walk between two skyscrapers in Chicago, the team said.
The walk at Palisades Credit Union Park is almost the same distance and height as his great-grandfather’s walk across Shea Stadium in 1970.
“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to walk over Palisades Credit Union Park,” said Wallenda in the team's press release. “My great-grandfather, Karl, has been a huge inspiration to me and it’s an honor to be able to walk over a baseball field similar to many of his walks.”
The walk will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. before the Boulder's take on the Cuban team in the second game of their three-game series.
Individual tickets are $24.95 and $19.95 (plus tax and online fees). Fans must purchase a dated ticket to this game through the Palisades Credit Union box office, or by clicking here. Unused season tickets will not be accepted for this date.
