Rockland Middle Schools Make The Cut In State 100 Rankings

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Several Rockland County schools placed in Niche's top 100 ranking of New York's best middle schools for 2016.

Suffern Middle School placed 43rd, while South Orangetown Middle School was ranked 94th. Felix Festa Determination and Character Middle Schools placed 57th and 58, respectively, while Felix Festa Achievement Middle School ranked as the 79th best.

Niche's ranking methodology considered the factors of academic grade (50 percent), district overall experience grade (20 percent), teachers grade (20 percent) and student culture and diversity grade (10 percent).
