Two Surrender To Ramapo Police On Warrants

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Two residents turned themselves in at the Ramapo Police Department headquarters on unrelated cases Wednesday, May 11.

A 20-year-old female Airmont resident surrendered on arrest warrant and a 43-year-old female New Hempstead resident answered a criminal summons for criminal contempt. 

On Wednesday there were also accidents at these locations: West Central Avenue in Monsey; Viola Road in New Hempstead; Ralph Boulevard in Kaser; Spook Rock Road in Wesley Hills, Grant Street in Sloatsburg, Route 59 in Airmont, and Phyllis Terrace in Kaser. 

In addition to the arrests and accidents there were 16 alarm activations; two fires; and five medical emergencies.
