Two Suffer Injuries In Crash On Accident-Prone Route 202 Stretch

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two motorists were involved in a two-car crash Monday on Route 202 and Lime Kiln Road, according to the Ramapo Police Department.

The accident involved a Toyota Corolla and a Mazda CX-9 who ran into each other. The drivers of both cars received minor injuries and were treated at the scene by Rockland Paramedics and then transported to the hospital by Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps.

Ramapo police said the intersection where the crash occurred has been the scene of numerous accidents and are advising drivers to use caution while driving in the area.

This is especially true, they said, for motorists trying to turn left onto Spook Rock or Lime Kiln Road from Route 202.
