Tractor-Trailer Stolen In Rockland Valued At $180K

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Clarkstown police are still searching for a man who made off with a $180,000 tractor-trailer last week.

The black 2005 Peterbilt truck was taken from a parking lot at 52 Snake Hill Road in West Nyack early Friday, July 1, police said.

Security video shows the suspect, a white or Hispanic man with a slight beard and mustache, walking across the lot, and then, seconds later, the truck being driven off.

The suspect was wearing a black “Sox” baseball cap, long-sleeved T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers.

The 2016 MAC dump trailer's New York license plate is 1463C1.

The truck has “RJL Industries” on each door and “52” on its nose.

Many local contractors store vehicles in the lot, police said.

Anyone with any information about the truck, or the suspect, is asked to call Clarkstown detectives at (845)- 639-5840.
