Suffern Shoplifter Runs From Store Security, Nabbed By Police

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police nabbed a Suffern woman who security officers said bolted from the Airmont Walmart without paying for items stuffed into her purse and shopping cart, authorities said Friday.

Lisa  Cottone, 59, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Thursday by a Ramapo police sergeant in the parking lot after she fled from store security and out of the store with the merchandise, police said.

Cottone was charged with petit larceny and is expected back in Airmont Court early next month.
