On Sunday, Christopher Marte, 25, was stopped on Chestnut Street for a violation and it was found that his license was suspended and he was in possession of marijuana. After being processed he was turned over to Ramapo for an active warrant for possession of marijuana in that town, Osborn said.

On Monday, an officer on patrol Route 22 observed Marte operating a vehicle and knowing that he had a suspended license stopped him again. He was again taken into custody and is being held for arraignment on a driving with a suspended license charge.
