Suffern Man Involved In Crash Had BAC Three Times Legal Limit, Police Say

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- A Suffern man involved in a single-car accident on Tuesday, was driving at three times the legal limit in Suffern Park, according to the Ramapo Police Department.

Joseph Colon, 25, was charged with driving under the influence and aggravated driving under the influence after failing several field sobriety tests and testing at more than 0.18 percent in a blood alcohol content test, said Detective Lt. Mark Emma.

Colon is due to appear in court next month.
