ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ramapo police conducted rapid deployment training on Monday at Suffern High School.

By training at the school, the officers are able to simulate real-life surrounding, while honing their skills to be ready in the event of an active-shooter event or other emergencies.

The officers train several times a year for different situations they may face.
