Police: Husband, Wife Arrested At Montebello Home On Marijuana Charges

MONTEBELLO, N.Y. -- A Montebello husband and wife were charged Thursday with several counts of possession of marijuana after Ramapo Police served a search warrant at their home following an investigation.

Jason Stern, 28, and Sarah Stern, 27, were arrested after police discovered several pounds of marijuana inside their Rose Hill Road home, said Ramapo Sgt. Det. Brian Corbett.

Jason Stern was charged with criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

Sarah Stern was charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

Jason Stern was released after posting $5,000 cash bail. Sarah Stern was released with no bail.

The Ramapo Police were assisted by the Rockland County Narcotics Task Force during the investigation and during the execution of the search warrant.
