Police Arrest Two, Seize Drugs In Ramapo Raid

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Two Wesley Hills residents have been charged with drug possession, according to Ramapo police.

Moshe Blitzstein and Sima Silberberg, both 20, were arrested Wednesday at a home on McNamara Road in the village, police said.

According to police, they are facing charges of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony; third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a control substance, a misdemeanor; and criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor.

The arrests were the result of a lengthy investigation and raid by the Ramapo police’s Anti-Crime Unit.
