Clifford Trevil, 34, of Spring Valley, was arrested after police responded to a single-family home in the Spring Valley area of Hillcrest for a domestic dispute, said Det. Lt. Mark Emma.
After arriving, officers learned that a physical confrontation had taken place between Trevil and his girlfriend when he pulled her from the car and threw her to the ground causing an injury and ripping her jacket, police said.
Trevil then kicked the front bumper of her car, causing damage, police said.
He was charged with felony criminal mischief, criminal mischief, assault, and harassment. He is being held at the Rockland County Jail on $10,000 bail. Trevil is scheduled to appear in court next week.
