Man Killed By Train In Spring Valley Temporarily Halts NJT Pascack Line

SPRING VALLEY, N.J. -- Service was resumed on the Pascack Valley line just before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday after a New Jersey Transit train struck and killed a man in Spring Valley.

The #1604 train leaving Spring Valley to Hoboken hit him near the station at 6 a.m., NJ Transit's Jennifer Nelson told Daily Voice.

Service was temporarily suspended in both directions.
