Former Rutgers star Kenny Britt wanted by the law again

Bayonne’s Kenny Britt could be in trouble with the law yet again: Jersey City police said they want to question the former Rutgers star, now a Tennessee Titan, about his role in an incident that left a friend stabbed and a gunshot fired through a window.

In just over three years since he was drafted, the former Rutgers start has run into problems with police in Hoboken, Bayonne, Glen Ridge, Elizabeth and elsewhere.

The incidents have involved speeding in his Porsche, eluding police, resisting arrest and ducking traffic court on a variety of other violations.

He even met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in 2011, avoiding a suspension.

During NFL training camp last summer, Britt was charged with DUI following an overnight incident in Kentucky.

On top of that, Britt was sued by a man in connection with a Nashville bar fight.

This time, Jersey City police say, he reportedly drove his stabbed friend to the hospital after things got out of hand at a house party over the weekend.

Police said if they can’t find Britt, they’ll ask the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office to intervene.

The 13th pick in the 2009 NFL draft, Britt bounced back from surgery for both a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee and arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to catch a career-high 45 passes for 589 yards and four touchdowns with the Titans this past season.

His longest grab was for 46 yards against the Colts on Dec. 9.
