Chestnut Ridge Man Convicted In Destruction Of Wife's Laptop

CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. -- A Chestnut Ridge man faces prison time after being convicted of destroying his wife's laptop over images she discovered on his cellphone, according to lohud.com.

Nicholas Clark of Chestnut Ridge was convicted of destroying his wife's computer by a jury at the Rockland County Court House on Monday.

Nicholas Clark, 33, faces up to three years in state prison, District Attorney Thomas Zugibe told lohud.com.

The incident happened on Jan. 22, 2014, when the two got into a fight over the images. The jury convicted Clark of third-degree criminal mischief on Monday, said lohud.com.

Clark is being held in the county jail until his Jan. 3, 2017, sentencing, added lohud.com.
