SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Ryan C. Vosler, 31, passed away suddenly at home May 30, 2016, in Wilmington, N.C.
Born April, 29, 1985, in Suffern, he was a resident of Airmont and Wilmington, N.C.
He was a graduate of Suffern High School, a longtime employee of Camp Venture, Outragehiss Pets and a music instructor for children with autism. An avid musician, songwriter, singer and performer, he headlined at many clubs in New York City, as well as Boulder Stadium in Pomona.
Vosler is survived by his mother, Ruth Gail Vosler and Robert K. Vosler of Suffern; two brothers and three sisters, Robert Vosler (Vanessa) of West Nyack, Richard Vosler of Shamong, N.J., Kim Tessin (Fred) of Cornwall, Kelly Gabriele (Lou) of Airmont and Keri Higgins (Matt) of Mendham, N.J.; and many nieces and nephews, Nicole, Richie, Jason, Matthew, Gina, Jessica, Chloe, Sarah, Alyssa, Anna, Louis, Matthew, Emily, James, Dillon, Nicholas and Declan
He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Joanne.
Friends and family may visit from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Scarr Funeral Home 160 Orange Ave., Suffern. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, 125 Lafayette Ave., Suffern. Burial will follow at The Cemetery of the Ascension in Airmont.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to Camp Venture, 100 Convent Road, Nanuet, NY 10954.
