SUFFERN, N.Y. — Suffern resident Anna Mae Perry died on Tuesday, May 31. She was 71.
Perry was a healer and shaman who devoted herself to her family and the preservation of her history within the Ramapo Lenape Nation.
Perry's wake will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, with her funeral service beginning at 8:30 p.m. at the Scarr Funeral Home, 160 Orange Ave., in Suffern.
