Ariel Potash, 42, of Monsey, will be sentenced Thursday for being part of a gang of men who strong-armed men into giving their wives a "get" document required under Jewish law to receive a divorce, the story said. Avrohom Goldstein, 36, and Solomon Shuchat, 31, of Brooklyn also are set to be sentenced Thursday, said lohud.com.
Co-defendant Moshe Goldstein, 32, of Brooklyn was sentenced to 48 months in prison Nov. 16 and two others involved in the case, David Hellman, 33, and Simcha Bulmash, 32, were sentenced Nov. 17 to 44 and 48 months in prison, reported lohud.com.
Binyamin Stimler, 40, and the Goldsteins' father, Jay Goldstein, 61 are scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 16, said lohud.com.
