State Sen. Carlucci Reacts To Ramapo Fire Inspector Allegations

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- State Sen. David Carlucci, a Democrat who represents parts of Westchester and Rockland counties, made the following statement regarding allegations against Ramapo Fire Inspector Adam Peltz:

"The allegations that Ramapo Fire Inspector Adam Peltz failed to report multiple serious safety violations are outrageous and, if true, warrants his immediate removal from his position," said Carlucci. "I am glad that SED Commissioner (MaryEllen) Elia is taking these allegations seriously and investigating to determine potential wrongdoing. I sponsor a bill that would withhold state funding from any private schools that does not file a fire safety report In a timely manner. We must not allow local bureaucrats to put children’s lives at stake."
