Delhomme, who is facing impeachment while on trial for allegedly using a Spring Valley SUV and village gas cards and E-ZPass accounts for his personal benefit, pointed the finger at Vilair Fonvil, a former political ally, according to News 12.
Delhomme has specifically accused Fonvil of locking doors at a day camp despite a judge's order to keep the doors open, according to News 12, which reported that a lawyer for the three village residents who have brought the impeachment charges against the mayor claims Delhomme is responsible for the locked-door incident.
Delhomme's attorney has said his client will be cleared of any wrongdoing when the trial concludes -- likely sometime next week, according to News 12.
