WEST NYACK, N.Y. -- Road construction is closing the right lane on a stretch of the New York State Thruway in West Nyack on Wednesday morning.

The closure, reported at 10:45 a.m., is between Exit 10 (Route 9W) and Exit 11 (West Nyack), with backups to Exit 12 (Route 303).

An earlier multi-vehicle accident resulted in a fuel spill on the southbound thruway in Nyack.

The accident, at Exit 12 (Route 303), was reported at 9:45 p.m. Backups are to Exit 13 (Palisades Parkway).
